Arcane Oracle

A location-based adventure compatible with the first edition of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, designed for a group of four 6th-level adventurers. Whether you are looking for locations to add to a hexcrawl or need a side-quest to occupy a session (or more), Arcane Oracle will give your party the chance to investigate a wizard's tower. Your players will find a seemingly unoccupied tower, as well as a request (delivered through a spirit board) to rid the basement of the elementals that are occupying it. They can follow the quest or ignore it and continue exploring the tower (and dealing with all its traps).

The reality is that the spirit board is being operated by the wizard who suffered a haphazard encounter with a necromancer. He is now a crawling hand, but he has managed to retain some of his powers. He needs people to get rid of the water elementals in his basement so that he can figure a way out of his current predicament in safety.

The module includes stats for the wizard before and after his transformation, so you can include the tower in your game. It can be a place where your PCs sell magic items, buy potions, or ask for useful hints from the local diviner. Eventually, when they return, they'll find the wizard missing.

While the adventure is designed for 6th level players, groups without a rogue or a wizard may find themselves at a disadvantage if they explore the upper levels of the tower.

There is much more that I'd like to do with this module. Mainly to add the shadowy reflection of the tower in the shadow plane. It ended up being a lot of extra content, all for a part of the module that many groups are likely to never going to find.

If this module sells well and I get an indication that people would like the product to be expanded into the shadow realm, I will do so. All future shadowy additions to this location will be for free for people that have already purchased it, not as new modules.
